🕐 Brush your hair extensions:
Before washing, gently brush or comb through your hair extensions to remove any tangles or knots. Use a wide-tooth comb or a detangling brush, starting from the ends of the hair and working your way up to the roots.
🕑 Wet your hair extensions:
Wet your hair extensions thoroughly with warm water. Use your fingers to massage your scalp gently to ensure that the water reaches the roots of your hair extensions.
🕒 Apply shampoo:
Apply a small amount of sulfate-free shampoo to your hair extensions, focusing on the roots. Avoid applying shampoo directly to the ends of the hair extensions, as this can cause tangling. Instead, let the shampoo rinse through the ends as you wash your scalp. Avoid using purple shampoo if you have light-colored extensions.
🕓 Rinse the shampoo:
Rinse the shampoo out of your hair extensions thoroughly with warm water. Make sure to rinse until all the shampoo has been removed.
🕔 Apply conditioner:
Apply a small amount of conditioner to the mid-lengths and ends of your hair extensions. Avoid applying conditioner to the roots, as this can cause the extensions to slip. Leave the conditioner in your hair for a few minutes, or as directed on the product packaging.
🕔 Rinse the conditioner:
Rinse the conditioner out of your hair extensions thoroughly with warm water. Make sure to rinse until all the conditioner has been removed.
🕔 Squeeze out excess water:
Squeeze out any excess water from your hair extensions using a clean towel. Do not rub or twist the hair extensions, as this can cause tangling.
🕔 Air-dry your hair extensions:
Allow your hair extensions to air-dry completely. Do not use a blow dryer or other heat styling tools to dry your hair extensions, as this can cause damage to the hair fibers.
